Chehaw hosts a variety of events throughout the year. From Conservation Lecture Series to music concerts, fundraisers to cornhole tournaments: there is a Chehaw event for everyone!

Dec 6-8 Traditional Skills Gathering

This extended weekend is lead by experienced instructors teaching traditional/primitive skills used by Native peoples around the world.

Skills taught might include flint knapping, fire by friction, natural fiber cordage, bone tools, basketry, pottery, bows & arrows, atlatls & darts, edible & medicinal plants, blowguns, brain tan buckskin, twined bags, fingerweaving, traps & snares, fishing technologies and more!

Participants ages 12 & up are invited to take part
in a unique and educational weekend.
