Park Hours: 8:00am - 8:00 pm Zoo Hours: 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
This includes the children’s play park, picnic areas, BMX track, Disc Golf course, stocked catfish pond, nature trails, boat dock on Lake Chehaw, Mountain Bike Trail and camping area. Zoo tickets are additional cost.

The Zoo is inside the Park. Park Passes must also be purchased to visit the Zoo. Gift shop clerk will retain ability to charge an entrance fee to individuals without a Zoo pass.

Become a member of Chehaw, whether you are an individual, couple, or family and make lasting family memories and enjoy new animal discoveries the whole year through. Visit the animals including, cheetahs, rhinos, meerkats, lemurs, wolves, and more, then share a picnic with family and friends at our beautiful Park. Members also receive free or discounted admission to the many exciting annual events, such as the Native American Cultural Festival, Frontier Festival, and the Festival of Lights. There is so much to see and do at Chehaw!
As a member you receive wonderful benefits and your support enables us to touch the hearts and minds of schoolchildren each year as well as support species survival programs that save endangered animals. All membership levels include admission to the Park and Zoo for one full year. Also, through our AZA partnership, Chehaw members receive free or discounted admission to more than 170 zoos and aquariums throughout the US.
Chehaw partners with the Flint RiverQuarium, Thronateeska, and Albany Civil Rights Museum through Swaptember, which offers member privileges for use at these local attractions during the month of September.* |
