Get ready to go NUTS! Join us as we scurry into fall and discover how animals prepare for the chilly months ahead. From food caching and cozy dens to growing thick winter coats, you’ll learn all the wild ways animals get ready for winter. Let’s pack, prep, and play the animal way!

Spring is blooming, and the zoo is buzzing! Join us as we explore the colorful world of pollinators and the important jobs they do. From busy bees to fluttering butterflies, discover how these tiny helpers keep nature growing. It’s a sweet adventure full of flowers, flight, and fun!

School Break Camps will be located at Chehaw.
Each day of camp includes a zoo visit, animal encounters, games, crafts & activities.
Members receive a 50% discount on after camp care and 10% off full sessions!
Chehaw is a wonderful place for children to let loose and have fun while learning about the wonders of nature around them. In summer 2025, Chehaw has weeklong half and full day camps for children ages 4-12 running from May 27 - Aug 5.
