Plan an unforgettable field trip at the Upland Wildlife Festival – School Day, where students explore science in action through hands-on discovery and live animal encounters. On April 17, 2026, classes can spend the day going through wildlife learning stations and STEM-focused activities covering longleaf pine ecology, nutrient cycles, fire science, animal adaptations, vertebrate comparisons, and Georgia’s native plants and animals.

9:30 am- 10:15 am- Southeast Reptile Rescue Presentation 

10:30 am- 11:15 am- Bird of Prey Presentation 

11:30 am- 12:15 pm- Controlled Burn Drone Demonstration 

1:00 pm- 1:30 pm- Bird of Prey Presentation 

12:30 pm- 1:15 pm- Southeast Reptile Rescue Presentation 

 

Admission & Pricing 

Festival access is included with park admission. Price does not include taxes.

Friday School Day Rates: 

  • $5 per student/teacher (park only)
