Included in your Park admission is access to the Joshua W. Franklin Memorial Disc Golf Course. This 18 hole disc golf course, with a par 54, was opened in 2008 by friends and family of the Franklin and Griner families. The course has become a favorite among regional players.
Disc Golf is played much like traditional golf. Instead of a ball and clubs, players use a flying disc or Frisbee. The trees, shrubs, and terrain changes located in and around the fairways provide challenging obstacles for the golfer. Discs are available for use at the Ticket Booth.
